Interesting Facts
The deepest known marine site on the planet is in the Pacific Ocean southwest of Guam. At 11,033 metres in depth, it would cover Mount Everest with more than 1.6 kilometres of water.
Young coho generally spend one year in freshwater although in northern populations, high proportions of juveniles spend two or even three years in freshwater before entering the ocean.
